What about the eyes ?

 

       A lot of people tell us that, 'Eyes express more than words'. Eyes reveal the true emotions. I partially believe that, if you really want to know someone, look into their eyes. But being an introvert it will take a lot of efforts for me to do that. When I talk to someone I can’t even manage to look at their faces. But sometimes, by mistake, I have seen those glances. They really say a lot, which I can’t handle!

      I don’t know who came up with this concept! What were they thinking? When did they realise this? How they managed to interpret them? Does it have a separate language? Why someone never taught it to us? If you can read eyes, then you should also be able to speak with them. How that might be? Ever tried? Me neither.

     People have been falling in love with eyes for generations. They have seen betrayal in them. Even felt disrespected with just an expression of eyes. They have seen hope in them and sometimes even helplessness. People traveled thousands of miles just to see someone for one last time. Few saved their loved one’s eyes in their dreams and lived the rest of their lives with it. When we close our eyes, what do we see? I don’t see anything!

     What if we learn to read eyes? What will happen then? We will know the truth. Then what? What if the person next to you, doesn't want you to know what’s in his mind? They want it to be a secret or maybe waiting for the right time to say it! Will you give them space? Will you leave them undisturbed? No you won’t!

     Just like that, you can look into someone’s soul through their eyes. They can also deny you the permission to enter, to look, to read. They can also fall dead, emotionless, expressionless. No matter how hard you try, you cannot get through that wall! What will you do then? Talk to them? Ask them? And they will tell you a reason, give you an explanation about why they did it. And you will believe them!

Then, what about the eyes?
